My 97 Z28 is blowing black smok out! what can i do to lean it out?

Sounds like you may need a tune up.. Opti, plugs, wires.. Are you getting a check engine light? When are you getting the black smoke? At WOT?

Take it to autozone have have them scan it. .Its free.. That will give you a good heads up of what might be wrong.. Could be alot of things.. Fine out what the code is and let me know.. Then i can tell ya more...

I grew up in Bushnell... I just moved out here to AZ alittle over a year ago.. Does you plate say Ford something on them?

when i bouth the car it had tx plates! soon as i get time i will go to autozone

Was it supercharged at one point, but you took it off?

yes it was supercharged! but its got a new engine! just found out
that the fuleinjecters are a lil biger then stock so maybe that why its running rich?

Yes you do have bigger injectors.. They are Accel injectors, i wanna say there #30 pound in injectors but i am not sure.. There is a number on them that will tell ya what they are. Did ya get the codes scanned yet?? If i was in IL i'd bring my Tech 2 over and do it for ya, but AZ is a alittle far away..
