    rear main seal

    on a 96 t/a do you just pry out the old rear main seal and tap in the new one? first time at this. the felpro came wit a set of gaskets that i have no idea where the go.

    Rear main is a one piece on these engines so replaceing it is not that easy. I think you have to remove everything from the back of the crank and then there are some bolts that hold the rear seal in and you will have to remove the pan and I think the rear bearing cap but I'm not possitive on the cap.
