After changing the 02's, tracing all the wires, doing continuity tests on each of the wires, swapping the sensors between the banks, and chaging the pcm! What the hell!!! Whats my next step does anyone know...Or do i take it to the stealership?

what o2's did you replace. is there a chance that they are bad too. i have a 97 ws6 and deleted 2 of my o2's when i installed my headers. if you want to try more i might be able to help you out.

are you checking on the pin itself? or pushing the probe into the back of the connector?

That thread didn't tell me anything!!
WTF is wrong with the car in the first place? There has got to be a reason why he is checking for resistance and continuity?

ok i have code po154 no activity on bank 2 sensor 1.

The rear o2's are deleted by the tune so no issue there.

My issue lies with the pcm not getting any data at all from the front passenger side 02 sensor.

I swapped the new sensors between the banks so I know the 02's are good.

I unplugged the pcm plug and checked continuity from the pcm plug to the end of the extension harness. Passed with 0-.1 resistance.

I checked an verified 12volts on the brown wire at the end of the extension.

And as of today i changed the pcm out to one that has been tested by Ion (madz28).

I had problems with the weather connector rubber on the driverside o2. It was preventing the male and female connectors from full contact. Try replace the connector. I ran into problems with my LT1 with a couple of the connectors getting brittle. I got the same code. I fixed it and it ran fine.

do you mind giving some more detail as to what you did to the plug and what made you check that?

Well, I had just did my headers and it was one of the things I had apart. I just cut mine off and spliced another connector in. But since you have o2 sensor extensions( i didn't know that ) I would seriously check them out. Are you sure the o2 extensions are for your car? I am assuming the car is running like shit, correct?

just went and bought a delco o2 from pontiac dealer $86.

They had a guy there that specialized in Lt1's.

He was working on a 69 Z28 with a lt1 conversion as we were talkin.

He told me the delco o2 might fix it. The 69 he replaced one with a delco and that problem went away.

He also told me that he worked on a 96 that had the same problem only it was killing the 02 sensor about every 2 months. He found the plug oil soaked. He replaced the plug and problem went away.

So i am going to pull the 02 out put in the new delco and clean that plug up cause it was oil soaked and order a new extension.

He said everything else i did was right on and exatcly what he would do as far as tracing wires, replacing items with gm parts, and doing continuity test on the wires.

I have a new found hope! And if i can't get it I know I have a local guy at the stealership that knows his lt1's...If it comes to that it would be money well spent to know someone that knows these cars is working onit and not just some oil change boy that isn't busy.

Okay the problem is still there! I ordered some bulk 20ga. GXL wire from a distributor and a 4 wire splice and an o2 plug from speedscene wiring. Total was $30 for all of it and I got 250ft of black wire coming. I am going to replace wire from about 8" out of the pcm all the way to the o2 with solid wire, no extensions and run the wire to the firewall down the tranny and over so I won't have to worry about the header burning that anymore. A pigtail and a new extension was going to be more so I figured i'd just build it my self for less.

Car goes to the shop Friday for 4.10's gears and install my msd opti. I would do the opti myself but i am going out of town Sat. and won't have the time when i get back.

Installed the msd coil today that seemed to help some of my higher rpm ignition miss.
