metallic blue- 1969 camaro
radiator
so like many of you know im swapping an LT1/T56 into a 69 camaro.
What i need to know is how to cool this. I'm on a budget so one of those twin fan $600 aluminum radiators is out of the question.
Ive looked into using a radiator from an LT1 car. But i keep hearing about transmission coolers. i know nothing about this. what do i need to know about transmission coolers if im using a six speed. im really confused. thanks

Get a radiator out of an LT1 six speed car. If there are unneeded ports on there, just get plugs for them. It should work

Yes get a rad. out of a T-56 car.. Auto car will work too you just won't use the two ports for the trans cooler on the passenger side.. What ever one you can find cheap pick it up..
When i swap my auto for my T-56 i just left the ports open, it wont effect anything.. That was 2 years ago..
