Rack and Pinion
Does anyone know the major differences between the FE2 and the F41 on the 1997 camaro? I know the FE2 is #244 and 2.5 turns lock to lock and the F41 (244HD) is 2.25 turns lock to lock, but is there any other differences? My car came with the FE2. Can I put on the F41 (244HD) on my car? Any ill effects? Anyone ever done this?

Don't think you notice a difference, not worth the trouble, unless your current rack and pinion is going out.

Both aren't bad deals. But the mileage for the vette isn't listed.

no I didn't get it. I am just sort of moving that direction. Its going to take awhile I guess. My camaro really runs pretty good. But I would trade if I found the right vette at the right price like in about 4 months. I need to pay off a few things, as I just became employed again. Telecom is still merging and having issues left over from 2001, so I'm not at the level I once was at. But things are better.
