I got ceramic coated pacesetters and they work great. Nothing can beat them for the price or quality. You can't go wrong with them. Just don't get the emissions headers.

Pacesetters are great for the price. I've had mine for about four years now with no problems.

Been running the Pacesetter Ceramic Coated LT for the last 2.5 years, I have been very happy with them. I drive my car daily rain, snow, & shine and have slight bit of rust at the collector.
I really liked the thick flanges Pacesetter uses also.

Why do you say to NOT go with the emissions headers? Whats different about them?

They dont have emission fittings such as air or EGR. And unless there is some problem with pacesetter's emissions fittings (which I doubt), then there really isnt any reason you couldnt get them. All they do is clean up emissions, and they dont have any effect on power one way or the other.

Well, I guess if you have emissions and want longtubes, then you'll need the emissions headers. But the fitment of the EGR on my header was crap. I think it could have been better. And a month or so after install, my state passed a law saying that cars 95 and older don't require emissions anymore. I wasn't happy with the timing of that.

Ya I seen a set that had a place for an O2 sensor. I figured that would be good for a wideband and tunning. But I wonder how well they would fit? Or if it would be better to weld a bung into a regular set for a sensor?

So is it easier to install these headers while the motor is in the car or while it is out? I have not set the new motor in yet. also Im setting the engine in from the top and not the bottom.

well if you are putting the motor in from underneath the car I would install the headers outside the car.

I notice your from MO, Now that they don't have the sniffer can I get the NON emission LT's? or do I still need them since they have the plug in emissions.

Yes, you can get the race-style headers. However, the only thing is that you will throw an SES code and you will have to get it tuned out before you can pass emissions.
