    1996 trans am

    oil level sensor

    is it common for the oil level sensor on a 1996 lt1 formula to leak a lot. mine leaks like crazy i waas hoping to maybe get an idea for price ranges on those sensors and ideas would be appreciated thanks

    The one that screws into the side of the pan? They're not expensive, last PN I have written down is 12603782 and is still good - not sure if the LT1 sensor is different from the LS1 though. GMpartsdirect says dealer list $21.46, $12.72 their price.
