    1996 camaro

    need some help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    i have camaro lt1 1996 and my problem is my speedometer is not working and the transmision not shifting from first gear i changed my pcm and the speedkometer senser but still same problem any one can help me please?

    could it be the speed sensor? maybe, since it is not reading the speed sensor, it thinks you are goin 0 mph, and it wont go into 2nd at 0 mph.....thats the only thing I could think of

    i changed the speed sensor but still same!!!!!

    Did it just start doing this all of the sudden or after you changed some parts?

    after rebillding my engine and changed the trans oil filter and the oil

    Do you have enough fluid in there? Check for a broken wire from the speed sensor then. When the engine was put back in it could have gotten snagged or cut.

    I would be willing to bet you have one of the conections in the wrong spot.
