need help with off the line
i wanted to know what would be the best way to get the traction i need off the line i got a posi 373 rear with stock suspension and all i do is spin i raced my friends srt4 which i hate to death, it was funny cause he had me of the line but once i got into 3rd i killed him and it was a stage 3 srt4. i mean now i blew my trans up but im getting a rebuilt one i just wanted to kno what i should do for this problem i mean i could get drag radials or torque bars or something i really dont kno

Sticky tires. Some people are going to tell you to get every suspension piece in the book, but there are plenty of fast auto cars with all stock suspension. When you get to the 1.7s or quicker in the 60 foot, start thinking about some trailing arms, torque arm, panhard bar, and subframe connectors.

Got the same problem.. heat those tires up get em all sticky ...

heating up street tires does very little. sticky tires= drag radials of some sort for the street, and slicks for the track

DRs are the best mod for traction....I would get a new tranny mount, it's going to go when you have DRs.

well right now i just got the Z06 rims there 18's in the back and 17's in the front i was just gonna get stock z28 rims and but dr's on them but idk i found a set of 4 for 100 on ebay. but idk i kinda like the weld racing rims but they only come in 15inch and i thinkl thats too small for my car. idk

15 inch wheels will not work unless you grind on the brake calipers to make them clear.
I was refering to the width of you tires? The more meat on the ground the better traction your going to have.
