made a stupid mistake help!!!

so i was replacing my altenator and everything was going nice and smooth then i got careless and put the bolt into the altenator bracket the wrong way and the bracket broke! so what can i do is it hard to replace? does it need to be replaced? it doesnt move at all i ran it and reved it and it seemed to be fine. but id still like to replace it for peace of minds sake. pics of the damage below

Go find one at a junkyard or on ebay. You need to replace that.

if you can't replace it . find a machine shop that has a tig welder. they can either put the piece that broke off back on or they could build up that area. you would have to drill and tap it though. good luck man and don't be hard on yourself. shit happens, we can't control everything.

i was thinking about having one of the guys at work weld in back on. we have 3 diffrent types of welders were i work so i hope one of them is a tig. i hope it works... i just keep beating myself up cause i should have been more careful
