lt1 wont start need help fast

ok so i riped out my engine and change the cam and heads and a bunch of other stuff. but its all back togather. my other threads are about opti's but i put a new one in and now i get spark and it pops every onces in awhile when i am cranking i checked the fuel pres, all new plugs and wires. could i have done something wrong

i was woundering if my rockers are to tight and all the valves are open could cause this. im going to do a compression test but wanted to now more possibleties

Like you said, get the compression test and see what it is. Its kind of hard to tell you whats wrong.

ok so i check the compression and i didnt reallly get any where because it says it has no compression in cylinder 1 havent checked the otheres yet toke the valve cover off to see the rockers and they are to tight but it still doesnt expline the no compression in number 1 after i loosen it . could i have got bad head gasket or something

Well if you had a bad head gasket I think you would of had warnings like leaking green fluid from the exhuast or white smoke coming out of the exhaust as well, the car will still be able to crank and the motor would would be shaking.

ok here is the update car started rockers to tight cant keep an idle but i checked the fuel and it say it has 10-15 psi at the shrader with just the ing on. i put on a new areomotive fuel pres. reg. on so i think i have to adjust it and it should stay running i hope if you guys have and suggestion please give me some imput.

10-15 is way too low. it should be somewhere near 45 psi I think.
