LT1 Power?
Just wondering what are some good power adders, in the LT1 zone.
I am thinking about going with a set of CNC stage II heads, and a CC305 cam, with all the necessities.
What do you guys think about that, what else would you recommend?

Car a stick or auto? If a stick I'd go with the cc306. Get a good set of 1.6 roller rockers and some good lifters and you'll be happy.
Headers are always nice.

what kinda #'s might we be looking at with a nice cam, lifters, rockers, decent heads or just ported stock heads, and a good set of headers? just looking for a ball park. Not sure of what to do since mines only a lt1 and everyone always says don't waste time with it.

dont listen to people the lt1 is just as good of a base as ls1 just takes a little more cash to get there. if you ask anybody that knows my car in western forum.they wont say nothing bad abought the motor. just with a head and cam (good) its not uncommon to get 400 at the crank along with headers. dont get me wrong if i my car disappeared tommorw i would start over with a o2 t/a but sense you already have an lt1 build it

dont bother with any of those unless you had intake, headers and exhuast first.

You could also get a used Pratt & Whitney and drop that bad boy in there. Hell while we're talking about unrealistic engine swaps I think I have a Flux capacitor and a Mr. Fusion lying around.

soon we just went off to college,so things are getting slowed down a bit.were using two to4b turbos,a holly 650,greddy bov, real nice front mount, ported the heads, roller rockers, comp cam i forget which one but its for boost, a decent amount of work, invested around 2500 so far in just turbo and engine parts the new short block 383 from our shop teacher was 800 so total so far 3300 or more.we got everything except the headers which are hard to come by and ssautochrome are being retards about not having any either
