lt1 parts possibly for freeor cheap (not a for sale ad)

if i happen to buy a 95 camaro with an lt1 does anyone need any parts off of the engine (including computer) or transmission. depending on the part i may give some stuff away or sell them for cheap, even trade for random anything.

i dont have any interest to build an lt1 theres only a handful of parts if any that ill use. i plan on doing a carbed 350, 377, or 383 with a th350 trans.

im just checking any interest on this while im considering buying this car.

btw would anyone in indianopolis happen to want to stroll over to a used car dealership and check out a car for me

as far as i know the engine only has a blown head gasket, but i figured someone on here may want some stock heads or intake manifold to modify themselves or something. maybe someone needs a water pump (assuming all the parts are good) or something... hell, im mostly posting this caus im bored!

which trans, how many miles, hows the block, i might be interested in the whole dang powertrain and computer for low low $ or free, whatever you don't want...

thanx man; nothing off an LT1 will fit your car except maybe the cam and valvesprings, i'm not sure whether or not the TBI 305 has roller or flat-tappet. If he does part out the powertrain then you can have the cam if it will fit, i won't need it.

well ive read about plenty of lt1 cam swaps. i just dont know what kind of improvements in power it would make

i asked the dude some questions about the car and all he said was "we dont know anything about the car... it needs a new head gasket" and he refused to send me pics, i had to wait till he put them on the autotrader page. and he said the price was firm.

For 2k i'd consider it too.. I'd pull the motor as well, throw some head gaskets on it and sell it..

Can I ask why you would want to switch to OBDII?

I have seen allot of guys change to OBDI (for easier tuning) on a 96-97 model but never the other way around?

actually I wanted to swap all my stuff with a 1997 Z28 because of the electronic gauges, MAF, the whole deal.
