LT1/LS1 rack & pinion
whats is there to prohibit me from using an LS1 rack and pinion on my LT1?
mounting holes?
pressure line fitting size?
tie rod ends?
Physical size?

I no this is an old thread, but i was wondering the opposite. Will a rack from a lt1 fit a ls1 car??

Go to chevy and look up part numbers see if thier the same. Ask to see high pressure lines to see if the line sizes changed. Returns don't matter

ya I dont even have this Camaro anymore.. Was sad to let it go. But, I had to move on. I had it 5 years. And I did a TON of work to it. I think if I go with another sports car, it would be the corvette rather than even the new-retro Camaro. I don't like round the instrumentation inside for one thing. haha Also, this may sound odd, but I dont like wheels so big they look like a wagon wheel.
