    LT1 head bolts

Does anyone know if the head bolts for a 96 LT1 are re-usable or are they a one time use bolt?

I own a 1995 TA and according to GM's service manual, they are re-usable. However, that is not to say the bolts changed in 96. Check the service manual. The manual will also state the torque sequence.

My 95 manual also states to use a tread sealer.

You can get the factor manuals, the publisher is listed in the back of the owner's manual. My set of 95 came from e-bay.

Let us know how it workes out for you.

According to my manual is says the same thing. It just says take off the sealant and then reinstall. I just want to make sure.
