That kills my top end performance right now, but I'll rip your ass off out of the hole.
As soon as I get my stroker built it should be substantially faster than a 14

Hehe.
I light em up in all of first gear... getting traction in 2nd.. the auto down shifts back to first and I take off again.
I can't stand that.. it kills my hole shot so bad.
Explain somethin to me tho man.
Why with 87 octane do I use so much gas???
I run 93 octane and my gas gauge never moves... like ever.
I filled up last saturday.. been driving all week.. I still have a lil over 1/4 of a tank... and I been runnin my car too.. was doing 120mph on the way to work today.
Basically.. I can run from detroit to chicago.. in barely over 1/2 a tank.. with high octane.. if I run low octane.. I would be out when I get to Indiana???

if you lite em up in all of first gear... I shift into 2nd... lower RPM's... less hp... less torque.. the tires grab finally with enough traction.. the auto trans AUTO shifts back into first.. while the shifter is in 2nd... then I launch again upto 40mph from 30... then I leave it in 2nd to 80mph b4 shifting into low Drive.
The auto trans is gimp'd.. and I don't kno why it's doing that...but I should understand it's not like my pops SS...
he had 3.73 gears and shift kit trans.... if it was in first it stayed there.
my gear is stock 3.08 and no shift kit.
something the way it shifts doesn't feel right.
My dad's SS shifted from 1st to 2nd at 52mph.. and 2nd to 3rd at 90mph
my car shifts from 1st to 2nd at 40mph.. and 2nd to 3rd at 80mph.
it doesn't feel right... at high speed either.. the power and accel at high speed.

I suppose it helps if I launch better.. but letting off the gas to much like that.. will kill your hole shot as well
it's really hard to learn a cars performance curve.
to hard or to soft can cost you valuable time.
