hows this?
im thinking about getting some lt hooker headers with an ORY and a magnaflow catback for christmas. my parents fuel my addiction . i have a 96 lt1 bonestock except for the new stage II clutch. does that sound like a good set up? how about adding a electric cutout? how do i also find out if this is legal here in california? is there a website?

In cali lt's and an ory will be illegal. Not sure if you could get someone to overlook this though. Most you can get is shorties. The catback will be legal.

Pace setters are good budget headers. You would have to ask if they would overlook you removing the cats for inspection. Shorties aren't the best but they are better than stock manifolds especially when you start with other mods.

I wouldn't know the full extent, helped a buddy with his p1sc head unit, he had to fight it but not impossibly hard that you need to pay someone. Just a lot of beer, and alot of time and a shoulder top cry on. I have a feeling I have met who is selling it. They have a 96-97 black camaro, if it is indeed them. Make sure you ask for the rebuild receipt or # to call.

i disagree, shorties will net you little to no gain over stock manifolds....if you cant get long tubs and get someone to pass you with emissions i wouldnt bother. Look into that turbo kit and if you dont already have one, get a cold air intake and then an exhaust system such as magnaflow

5.0 this is right, the 5 rwhp they will get you is worth going through all that trouble to install the shorties....
