how much is a 97 Formula worth???

i know a guy selling a 97 formula with 78k on it, m6, white with black interior and t-tops. car has some mods done to it, short throw shifter, gears, clutch, etc.

he is a mechanic and says the car is mint, i havent seen pictures yet but will post them when i get them.

he is asking 4500 for this car and i know this is kinda low, but how good of a deal do you guys think ide be getting???

i dont really WANT a formula, i like the trans am much better, but if i am getting a good deal on the car i would resell it for a few grand more and use the money to buy a T/A.

any ideas???

.. i would say its a very good deal.. i bought my 96 formula m6.. stock with a k&N CAI 92,000 last august.. the asking price was 6995 at the dealership i was workign at.. of course i got it cheaper but that deal u have seems pretty good

incredible deal, thats the best year for the LT1: electronic speedo, dual cats, MAF... go for it!!! formulas look cleaner than tas anyway, less body clutter!

I picked mine up for 1200 in very bad shape off the bank repod, however, if i were going to sell it today the way it sits right now I'd ask 6 and hope for the best.
