    HELP!! Drivability Problem.

I have a 1995 Z28, motor is fresh with about 3k or so, repalced the omi-spark
due to a defective leaking water pump. Now after car warms up to operating tempure it will just shut down. And or sometime miss alot, tach jumps all over, spark knock. etc. Help! I have just last night replaced the ignition control mod. I didn't make a difference. Does anyone have any ideas where i might start?

I know on mine there is only one way the coil pack will go in. But on your aftermarket one is the 2 ways it can be installed on the cam?

Did the car misfire before you put the new Omi-Spark in?

Before I put the new omi-spark in car didn't run at all. After the install car ran fine for about 2,000 miles. Then this problem came up.

Have you checked the security system? I know it sounds weird but sounds like the VATS Possibly is going out on you. Look up the VATS override in the general help section its a Sticky and it shows you a detailed picture way of overriding it.

    Thats were I would start.

Check to make sure the plugs are gapped properly and make sure the wires are not arcing. Having the wires arc will create alot of pinging, backfiring and shutting off.
