fuel line repair
heres what happened my fuel line decided to spring a leak right at the point where it goes over the fitting. since it is sunday and i can not get a new line my dad decide to cut the line just after the leak since there is enough pla in the line to get it over the fitting again the problem is that the line looks as if it was heated to fit over the fitting. i came up with the idea of using a blow dryer to heat the line because obviously you cant use an open flame. my question is this safe or will the blow dryer make enough heat to ignite the gas?

Kind of playing with fire, no pun intended. I wouldnt try to repair the fuel line in that manner. Wait and get another one, you're just out a vehicle until you can.
