drunk idea
since ati/procharger and a few others make proven froont mount supercharger kits for the lt1... and sts makes a all inclusive rear mount turbo kit.... anyone else ever think.... twincharger setup?
ponders......

So are you saying a turbo boosting into a supercharger, or twin superchargers? Both have been done successfully.
Only thing is, you can make all the power you want with one or the other typically, so why make things that much more expensive and complicated...

5.0's right. You don't need the extra flow through the engine and you can make a blower run enough psi so why not just spend the money on getting more out of the first one. On the other hand it would look real good on a show car, especially if it works well.

http://bioage.typepad.com/photos/unc...si_airflow.png but with a belt super and a rear turbo... i cant see it being too complicated, the sts charge pacts as a quasi intercooler, all youd have to do is fab the intake piping and ad in the control valves. i was just pointing out that both kits are available, like 85% of an entire lt1 twincharger system is already fab'd
