absolutely, just check the backround of the seller. it could be used, slightly. if it is, then its just personal prefferance if you are willing to buy used. i myself, have no prob with ued parts. saved me alot of money.

Unless it is a name brand intake such as K&N or Moroso, it's garbage as far as I'm concerned. cheap shit. you get what you pay for.

I wish you wouldn't sugar coat it so much. You should tell it like it is.

I'm sure i'll get piled for saying this, but a cold air is a cold air - no matter what the name says on the kit. I've had kits from Moroso to K&N to SLP, and the kit I made for my current '93 Z28 works and performs just as well as all of them. When I had the K&N system on my previous '94, the filters kept getting caught on the road (i.e. speed bumps) and damaging. The result was 3 replaced filters before I switched to a SLP kit. On the kit I have now the filter doesn't come that far down. Really, there's only so much involved with designing a cold air system.

a cold air is a cold air, the only part that makes a real diference is the air filter, and k&n really is the best

pure and simple facts on different filter tests, an oiled gauze filter such as a k&n hasnt changed in years and doesnt filter as smaller dust and dirt particles as well, paper filters and new dry microfiber element(aem and amsoil) filters have changed drastically in the last few years and will flow very well while still filtering out those tiny dust and dirt particles an oiled gauze filter has a harder time with
