Cleaning LT1 Injectors
My LT1 has been in storage for a few years and I would like to know what would be the best way to clean the injectors before I fire it up, i.e ultrasonic, etc.
Does anyone offer this service? Or would it be cheaper to buy new injectors instead? If so, what brand and size should I get for a stock LT1 with headers?
Thanks,
Mike

There are places that will clean and flow your injectors.. I would search around for one of those places.

Might try buying a fuel injector cleaner kit but you might need and air compressor to apply pressure to your kit so it will pressurize the fuel rails. NOt sure how the system gets pressure, but I know that you pull the fuse on the fuel pump and allow the cleaner solution to flow str8 into the fuel rails. Not necessary to remove the fuel injectors. Other than that, autozone has some really good cleaners that go in your tank, but I always mix it like 10 times stronger than the recommendation. I figure if you can add the professional hard cleaners str8 into the fuel rail then its safe to add more than the recommendation into the fuel tank.
