brake problem
i have a 95 t/a 6spd. heres my problem, every time i stop my car with the brakes the no trac light comes on. the only time this light used to come on would during the rain if i stopped real quick. well now like i said it comes on everytime like my car is sensing its wet all the time. and also now the abs inop light is coming on and staying on. ive changed all 4 sets of brake pads, fluid level is good, no blown fuses. what is causing this? some kinda sensor? is so where r they located? HELP!

I was having the same problem with my V6,only my tach and gauges were acting funny and giving erratic readings as well as the low trac and abs inop lights coming on.
The low trac and abs lights were the first to act up.
Check your alternator output voltage and have the battery load tested.
I changed the battery and cleaned the underhood relay box with some electrical contact cleaner and all was well.Last edited by transamtom; 08-15-2005 at 02:58 PM.

It sounds like you have a bad wheel speed sensor. You need to have it scanned to pin point which one it is.

how much do these sensors usually cost?

I thought it was my ABS unit or a sensor,it was my charging system, the battery to be specific.
Do the basics before you start swapping parts.
Check the wiring to the sensors on the front wheels and to the rearend housing as there is only one sensor on the rear.
GM Parts direct is not showing the front sensor seperate
