bogging/dieing when switching from Park to Drive

i have a 95 z28, the car seems to wanna die or sometimes it even does die(when hot out 100+) when you switch the gears (A4). the car starts up fine but when i switch it from Park to Drive the rpms drop really low 1-400 rpms then it slowly steadys out. it does it also does it when you switch to reverse. the car has ported heads, cam, slight engine bore, its tuned but not dyno tuned only street tuned. the idle is set at 850 and it rarely idles there. no codes or anything, also car sometimes boggy while driving in low rpms.

TPS might be bad. I had one go bad and it didn't throw a code. The IAC might be bad too. Try cleaning the MAF sensor.

FYI Becarefull when cleaning the MAF. You can easily ruin it if the wrong chemical is used to clean it. I'd pull the IAC first and check it for carbon build up first then clean if needed.

ok well i changed the plugs, the #2 cylinder plug was cracked and the #7 plug was covered in goop, maybe from when i seafoamed. the car smoked like crazy when i seafoamed i meen thick nasty smoke. worse than my 02 camaro and 01 ws6 combined. anyways the new plugs have made a world of a difference in the idle but its still doing the bogging thing when switching gears, its not as bad but it still does it. gonna work on the tps now......

Keep in mind through all of this that your tune might just be shit, and is contributing to or compounding other problems. But keep checking all of what has already been mentioned, as they are mostly cheap and easy things to check.
