blower for a LT1?

I need some info. on a blower for a LT1 like where to buy and round how much im looking at for a good one. Also when it comes to dry shot and wet shot nos is one actually harder on the car then the other or is it just more of a preference and what kinda power your looking for. I ask cause a buddy of mine had a dry shot kit with 15lb. bottle in his LS1 camaroSS and never used it once and wil let it go for 300 to me. Sound like a deal? Oh and blower or NOS?

LT1's kinda like nitrous, but like all things, in moderation.

As far as a super goes, don't bother until you've built up the bottom end and gotten some heads/cam work done. 4-8psi "bolt on" kits are out there by 3 major companies, Powerdyne, Vortex and ATI... ATI being the most well reguarded, at least from the people i've asked. check out here for info on all of em:

I believe they can all be "upgraded" to 10-12psi but no stock bottom LT1 will hold for very long... there are always the few that get lucky, but generally you will need a rebuilding sooner then you'd think. Get some forged pistons, rods etc.. before running with boost. While you are in there might as well go 355/383, won't cost much extra anywho. Get a good intercooler, knock will end all things. AND, you're going to want to replace the rear end with a 12 bolt if you do any track runs... street it might not be necessary, but under boost on the track and you are just asking to granade the rear with the blower.
