Belt Tensioner question.
Ok so what does one sound like when it is going bad? I know this would be hard to describe. I hear something sometimes when I start up for about 10 min or less.. It sounds like somethiing that is turning on the belt is bad. I have a new power steering pump and a new alternator. So its either the A/c compressor or the belt tensioner.. I am hoping it's not the compressor.
Do these camaros require everything to be replaced once or what? My gosh if I didn't do this work myself, I would have dumped this car looonnggg ago..

Well, a hum/roar and/or squeaking sound. You can takee the belt off and feel for friction. It should turn over pretty smoothly.
