    just like the LS1 unfortunately the LT1 1/4 mile times for a non WS6/SS are the same as the WS6/SS so i really doubt they have an extra ~20hp. being that i have a true LT1 WS6 and had a non ram air version of the LT1 i can say there really is no noticeable difference other than looks.

    Someone correct me if i'm wrong but i believe 93-95 the cars had a single catalytic converter and produced 275. 96-97 they went to a two catalytic converter set up bumping the horse to 285. My friend had a 96 and I have a 95 and those were the differences we noticed

    Yes. The 96+ cars were OBD2 with the dual cats. And in 95 they went to the vented optispark. There were other small changes as well.

    Whats the difference between the "vented" opti-spark and what was in 93-94? I'm guessing nothing too major since it's still an opti-spark!!!

    there is a small vent running from the intake elbow to the opti itself. This helps to pull moisture out and away from the inside of the opti.
