Automatic to Manual 6 Speed Transmission Swap - Possible? - Impossible?

So, I've got an LT1 T/A with an automatic and some bolt-ons, and the automatic is really starting to, pardon the pun, grind my gears.

So my mission, if at all possible for a reasonable amount of money, is turn my LT1 auto into a 6 spd manual with a 600 or so ft-lb rated tranny.

Can someone give me some advice as to price and to what its going to take to make my mission happen, I'd very much appreciate it.

shouldnt be a big deal, a t56 can take 450, thats all you need if you want to keep your wallet with the LT1, you want 600 HP out of that motor your talking buku bucks, time and headache. Think you need different drive shaft, tranny mount, and dont know about the computer.Probably wouldnt be that difficult if you know what your doing. Find a waded f body and make sure you get the complete tranny, dont want to have to hunt for parts.
