That sounds right to me, but not 100% on this.

I would say Kooks and American Racing would be the better quality ones out there with most likely better fitment. I have a TSP Y pipe waiting for my LTs and held in hands I feel it is garbage. But its only $150 new, so you get what you pay for. As far as Y pipe banging I can not answer that but I will be putting it in the car when I get the other stuff around.

There is a hanger you can buy that goes around $50. Look for Mufflex Y Pipe hanger, part # MufflexBS-3. WS6store has it.

To solve mine I just had them weld the Y pipe in the position (minus the at the collector) and it hasn't bang my floor boards yet.

i have the pasesetter lth and there y pipe tryed that mufflex hanger still hit,so i put a piece of a tail pipe hanger (rubber) in between the pipe and floorboard where its the closest now it just rumbles because there no space between the pipe and floor ,so im hoping with a different pipe that takes a little different route like tsp would slove this

Replacing old worn out motor mounts with new polyurethane mounts will sometimes gain additional exhaust clearance.

Nope it's not hard to do them. Drill 3 rivet out, enlarge to new bolt size. If the oem rubber doesn't come out apply a heat gun to warm them up and they will pop out.

It takes longer to get them out then to replace the rubber with the poly.

^^ This. The actual swap is simple. Getting the mounts out and then back in is a chore.

I've read where a member wrapped a black rubber "tie down strap" around the Y pipe where it was hitting the floor and that helped. Apparently the rubber didn't melt and it lasted for over 2 years.

Poly engine mounts and ARH y-pipe here. No hitting at all, even if i try to push up on the y.
