    Xmas Cabbage

Alright, so i've got about 800 bones in Xmas/Bday money and i'm tryin to decide on what to mod next. My T/A is DD'd, only mods are LT's, ORY, Magnaflow CB, CAI, and rims. I'm leaning towards welded 3 point SFC's, and if I have enough Strano sway bars. I would buy Koni's, but if I did i'd need APHB and i'd wanna do springs at the same time. Any thoughts? Something else I should look into instead of SFC's?

I would suggest the suspension, but like you pointed out, once you start on the suspension, you need to do the rest of it.

Yeah. I was thinking for the time being do SFC's and SB's, and then save for shocks/springs and everything needed and do that all at once. Think that's good?

Aren't koni's $800? seems you would have enough for the shocks w/o messing up the center of the rear.

I've thought about it, but if I were to do it i'd wanna do springs and the APHB at the same time

ws6store.com has a Bilstein/Eibach combo which is still very good shocks/springs for the money.

Your def making me think about it. I think I have decided SFC's for the time being, and I think i'm gonna save the rest for the time being, maybe mod some more things later down the line

This is the best MOD anyone can do for their car.

Otherwise, I'd go with the SFC, maybe a ported TB, LCA's, panhard, or torque arm. Alot of suspension work to be done besides shocks and springs.

UMI has a nice adj LCA/PHB set that made the car launch and handle a bit better and you could het that and the SFC's and still have cash left over.
If you do shocks/struts it's best to get new strut mounts and do the springs at the same time so you don't have to take it apart twice.
I started with the adj. UMI LCA/PHB set 1st. Then I did the shocks/struts, spings and sway bars in the next round of suspension mods. Doings the SFC's next. I have some just gotta get around to installing them.

Thanks for the opinions guys. I think for now, i'm gonna do welded SFC's, save the rest of the money, and figure out what I want next. Part of me was thinking a dyno tune from Frost, but we'll see

Did you get a tune after installing the mods that you have? If not, you should at least get a mail order from Frost. My guess is that the combination of the CAI and exhaust has altered your engines volumetric efficiency -- this means that your fueling is off.

No, I didn't. I kept putting it off cause I kept adding bolt ons and i've basically finished em, and I haven't had money to do it. But now that I do thats moved up on my list so i'll be getting one before summer starts for sure
