WS6 Spark Plug Change
Just a quick post to say thanks for all previous posts on changing plugs. Knocked mine out in just over an hour today. 2002 WS6 CETA. Easier than I expected. Nice scars on my arms but worth it. Only took off the air tube on passenger side. Combinations of extensions. Changed the wires too.
Of course the biggest tip is go under for number 8. I saved it for last and when I got under there and saw how east it was I smiled. No doubt when I fired her up she sounded great.
Thanks all.

glad you got it done......that's a good time too for your first time at it. I'm not sure many can do it in an hour. Hell....it takes me 15 minutes to get a beer out and in the huggy.

Takes me an hour to drive to store and pick up beer and line up all the tools and change into my greasy jeans. Good time for sure...

Yea i here ya. I only counted actual work time. Not the complaining or celebrating each plug. I had called two mechanics. On said 3.5 hours and the other said 3 hrs. I really figured i would only get through a few of them but it really went quick. I had the plug gaps checked out before i started too. All in all just a good success story.

Haven't done mine yet. But it doesn't sound near as bad as doing plugs on my '76 T/A (had to take off a front tire and go in through the wheel well under the A/C compressor for #2) or replacing a heater hose on that same T/A (hood/fender removal required). Those mid-late Chevy Monzas (Olds, Buick and Pontiac had equivalent cars, just cant remember their names) with V8s had to have an engine mount unbolted and the engine lifted to get to the back plugs.
