WS6 airbox
Anyone have or know where I can get the taller airbox off a 98 to 02 WS6 so I can replace the shorter one on my non WS6 car?

like said above, try a salvage yard, or post what you want in the "parts wanted section" of this site

ram air hood . com is where I got mine. Best price I could find, but when I look at it now, I think it's gone up. Worked nicely for me.

Maybe a couple of you need to read the first post over again.
This has nothing to do with a WS6 'hood', ...
Check the For Sale forum on all the LSx-based forums.
Post your 'WTB' ad on the appropriate forum also.

I don't need to read it again. I knew what the topic at hand was, but maybe watson doesn't know the difference between the WS6 airbox and a different designed air box that came with his hood. I was just asking him a question about the hood he bought, calm down. You want a WS6 air box? There are a couple ways, all already posted. The easiest is if you have the part # for it, go to a dealer, go to the parts counter and tell the guy the part #, in return he will either give you or order you a WS6 air box. Or, go on ebay, and other various F-Body parts suppliers that are on the net. Also, like me you have a Corvette / F-Body salvage yard near you speed. If you want the information for them then PM me. Junkyards work, searching this or other F-Body forums work, getting it off a friend or someone else works but is less likely...I think that covers it.

I'm not suggesting anyone go buy a hood. It's the name of a website.
Go there, click on "Air boxes," scroll to the bottom of the page, click on "1998-2002 Trans Am WS6 Air Box with Filter."
I don't know if you still want to know the answer to the question now, but I have not had any problems with this airbox. Fits perfectly into place with no issues.
You can price one at a dealership, but dealership prices are usually a lot higher than they should be. Note: I have not gone out and priced one at a dealership, so don't take my word for it.
Hope this helped.
