Wrecked
Yea, I had a blowout and struck a fence on my way to visit my brother.... Normal day tops off, goin about 128 then a loud ass boom noise, my rigth fender flies over my windshield, and the car jerks straight towards an oncoming 18 wheeler.. I jerk the wheel the opposite way which sends me into a small spin then i go into the muddy grass, skidding for about a good 1/2 mile... i'm ok but my car isn't, everyone who stopped said I was lucky I didnt flip goin that fast etc., i do think i was lucky... So where can I get a new fender n such, the car still runs as i am currently driving it right now...

ouch, your lucky to be walking let alone still driving the same car lol 128 is pretty damn fast for something like that to happen, but I would look at a local GM dealer ship or a junk yard, but your best bet is going through GM...Good luck and keep the shiny side up...

Insurance claim - if they'll let you. Used, try www.tacreationsusa.com if you can't find one locally.

Yea, my tires were z rated, but they didnt have too much tread left on them anyways... But thanx I know where affiliated is, i'm glad they have firebirds n such, I have never been there but drove by there.. I wont be so careless next time, I just figured that wouldnt happen to me, but I am happy that i'm walking, so are my family... I do need to get the car checked out, its overheating, makes a squeakin noise while driving, and is leaning to the right a little bit... I have to drive back to Arlington today from San Angelo, which is about 300 miles so wish me luck you guys!!

oops.
Amen to that. I wondered why my premium freakin jumped. One thing to notice, Gents. When you're looking at pics of salvage f-body's or wrecks like this...none of them get hit from behind! that does suck man, but I can't say it's unexpected. the statement 'riding the horse to death' comes to mind.
