Which would you do next?
I have enough to get either a stall or headers. Right now I only have a lid and I am ready to get a new mod. I would like some input as to which would yeild the most improvement. Thanks for any advice.

It depends if you want to take it to the track more at this time I would go for the stall. If you want more sound and HP just for overall power go for the headers.

I have never been and don't plan to go to the track anytime soon, so I guess headers first and I'll wait on the stall until I'm about to do my cam.

Well if your not going to be done track races, I dont know if you should get the stall, it helps when ur launching from a stop. On the streets most of the time it will be on a roll (which is an advantage for you anyways) so the stall wouldnt be helping that much

Cool. Thanks for the info. I don't want to spend that much money on something that won't really help me on the street. Headers it is!

I had 3.73's on my LT1 Camaro and it was too much gear for the highway for me. I loved how it launched, but I was doing almost 4000 rpm's at 85-90. I was thinking about maybe 3.42's. I don't know how big of a difference that would be from the 3.23's I have now. I have an A4, btw.

Also when you get a stall you better factor in labor or be good with trannys yourself, its not like you just bolt on a stall lol.

If you are auto you have 2.73s or 3.23s, 3.23s arent bad, and if you do upgrade go to either 3.42s or 3.73s anything higher will be horrible on gas mileage.

how much gas difference is there between 3.73 and 3.42? also how much preformance difference would it be

I'm gonna go ahead and get the headers right now. I may still get a stall later on down the road. Thanks for the feedback!

The m6 with 4.10s aint that bad but i still wouldnt want them for my DD, buy a 1000 dollar car and then start modding.
