whats the value of the trans am.

So how dose everyone think the value of the 98-02 trans am will be affected? Do to the fact that pontiac is gone. will it rise?

One thing is for sure it isn't going to skyrocket any time soon.
Wouldn't matter to me as I'm not likely to sell anyway.

The value on the 02 WS6's seem to be staying up.

    Alternatively:

What's the value of being a buzzkill to every Mustang GT driver within a 3 mile radius?

What's the value of thundering past a line of cars in the opposite lane at an intersection waiting to turn... seeing the individual looks of awe and horror on their drivers' faces as your exhaust echoes off of them?

The Trans Am carries a distinguished sense of individuality, grace and presence that you would be hard pressed to find in another type of car. It's the last of a dying breed- a representative of who we are and what we want to be.

I wouldn't trade my chicken for nothin'.

haha i'll never sell my bird. I just think the value is going to go sky high in the next few years. idk i got mine for $11,000 in cash when it already had 10 large into it. it's faster than everything i'v raced. and for $11,000 i'm beating up on $80,000 cars. so feel lucky while this car sells for so damn cheap. and go get one Now!!! before it's to late at 50 grand some day.

And youll continue to see those cars for sale. Nobody is stupid enough to pay those prices.
As for values of these cars in the future, dont count on it, buy stocks instead.

I dont think you will really see much return ever in these cars especially once you take inflation into account. Plus 4th gens never had the popularity lvls of the old T/As.

well i waited for ever to get the car i did, People spend $11,000-22,000. on stock trans am's. i spent $11,000 on a trans am that would have cost $40,000 if it had come out as a factory option. Don't get me wrong, I understand that collecter cars sell higher in stock condition......It just seems sily. Why would i pay twenty for a stock when i payed eleven for a 450+ hp car, with just about everything you would want for a street car. Plus, The only reson i got the car so cheap, is because the guy that sold it to me was gettin a house and getting maried within the week. this guy needed money BAD. and people offer to buy my car all the time. i would have no problem selling it for $30,00 as is.

lol plus my car will beat most other cars in looks, speed, and sound. I work at my best friends family's irish pub. and it's a super popular place for people to bring there cars. you'll see just about everything there. but when i come to work. all i hear is holy shit what is that thing! wana race? they end up backing down half the time, and the rest get smoked. never lost a street race.
