whats a 98 ws6 worth ?

ok guys my 99 just got totalled and i found a 98 with under 40k on it,6 speed car needs clutch slave,and a little paint work and some other little crap.i would rather find an 00,01,02 but just cant seem to.how much should i be payin for this car?

I bought a flawless 45k mile 2000 hawk for 11.5 back in June. Demand for these cars is in the summer... not winter. If I can get a hawk for 11.5 you can get an older ws6 for less than 10k for sure

For what it's worth I bought my 98 WS6 in August for $10,800, needed nothing, A4, few mods, and 35k.

I sold my 98 WS6 for 6500$ full bolt on cammed/stalled/a4 car that needed only an AC compressor. 140K but you had to see it, it looked like a brand new car and ran VERY strong. If you look hard you will find deals out there. Get what you want now, you will regret it later if you dont. The M6 cars usually go for more $$

I bought my 99 ws6 that is really not one but before I bought it someone changed it to look like one. It has the hood the rear ws6 sign but its a ws9 black needs paint up close m6 had 97k when I got it for $7000. Now its got 101999 and still runs good and strong,knock on wood. I live in MO just 10 miles east of Kansas City MO. The only two things that I found is exhaust and the air filter mods.o short shifter. Got it last Feb. I forgot it has 17" corvette C5-C6 aftermarket 10 spoke wheels with BF 11" wide sports on the wheels. Sorry no pics yet on to due list.

m6 im guessing thats the 6 speed code as ive only owned auto,s ?

great deal for the miles IMO if thats all it needs is a clutch... post pics when you can

Clutches tend to be a frequent item for some members round these parts. If that's the only thing the car needs i'd say it's a good deal....

Makes you wonder though, what was done to destroy a clutch in only 35k miles on a stock vehicle? These clutches aren't known to hold up to abuse too well but a low mileage stock car I can't imagine needing clutch work.
