What parts make WS6 package 02 Trans Am

What specific parts make up the WS6 package for a 2002 Trans Am?

    Such as the following:

What what kind on sway bars?

    What kind of springs?

    What kind of shocks?

    ETC.

    Do they have parts numbers?

    Thanks

I agree. Do not order factory stuff to make a clone, upgrade instead. Only thing I would buy factory would be the hood and wheels (unless you want different ones).

Besides buying factory stuff from your dealer would probably cost you as much as BETTER after market stuff.

The Pontiac dealer told me all 02's Trans Am's and Formula's have power steering cooling.

    2002 Trans Am

I am not really making a clone, but do want to upgrade. I have a 2002 Trans Am with everything but the WS6 package.

I know about the hood and wheels but not sure about the suspension.

All of the websites that tell you what is in the WS6 package only state that it has upgraded suspension.

What is that upgraded suspension in comparison to the standard T/A? Am I missing any parts? What is bigger or better than what I have already.

    thanks

The WS6 Pkg was $3150 (98). Besides the hood and wheels the suspension is somewhat unremarkable and the exhaust system is little more then a different muffler and tips.
For `01-02 Cars Just add a Hood 32mm front swaybar and the wheels and your done.
`96-early 2000 will have the 1LE Springs on top of that. All Decarbon Shocks suck no matter what model they were on.
And I agree that the money can be better spent on aftermarket stuff to put you well beyond a WS6 because that is what I did.

you have subframe connectors and a shock tower bar? thats the best place to start.

i wouldnt worry too much about shocks/springs unless you have already done some major upgrades, or if your seriously into autox or the like, but then again you shouldnt have bought a trans am if thats the case:P

cross drilled rotors are another good non-drivetrain perf mod.

WS6 hood from the factory runs around $2500. Of course i got to find this out the fun way when some redneck asshole backed into my car destroying my hood.

True that, but the best hood out there is actually the GM Ram air hood. They fit perfect and almost zero hassles. Sometimes its just better to pay more on certain items.
