What are the laws with a TA's side markers?

I have a white TA and I want to put clear lenses on it. Is it legal? If so why don't Camaros have them in front and only in the back? thanks

Cause the camaros have a light in the front that wraps around to the side and can be seen from the side.

It all depends on your state laws. I'm sure you can do a search online to find out what North Carolina says you can and can't do.

The marker and the lens could be any color you want, as long as you aren't impersonating an emergency vehicle

be careful. I have clear lenses on the fronts and backs. They come with the amber and red bulbs. The red bulbs in the back come out lighter and almost look pink. I took mine through inspection and they failed me, saying that I had pink bulbs in. I had to buy amber ones and get back on line. The amber in the back looked rediculous and I already paid $50 for the lenses, so I put the red bulbs back in. If you guys have any alternatives to make the light darker I am all ears. As for cops you shouldn't have a problem during the day or night time as long as they match the orginal color.

Yeah, right? That's what I asked the cop when I got pulled over for blue fog lights!! Just check your local laws to find out for sure. I know down here they would rather pull you over for stupid crap like this than catch the real criminals.
