there are a lot of things that throw red flags for me, it don't sound right, it smokes so valve job, tint on one side could be as innocent as it was broken it to or it was t-boned and they replaced the door, I would check the VIN# and see if it has bin wrecked and wht the service record looks like.

looks clean. but for that price. you could find a regualr T/A.
that sounds more like a lifter with a little slap. i have some bad slap on mine but im replacing the block with a LS6 this spring/summer.
i dont know how may miles are on it. but. there are always better deal if you keep search. i am also on the fence on this one. nice color tho.

Silver- 2000 Trans Am
I checked the VIN a few days ago, it has a clear title. It looks as if the first owner (had it until 63k miles) took good care of it. It was in an accident in 2006 where someone backed into the rear of the car. Do these cars smoke a little on start up ever? It has been sitting in 20 degree weather with snow on it. Thanks for all the help, anything else? I am taking a check but if it doesn't check out I will walk away. Thanks, Sid.

1999 Formula WS6 M6-sold- 2001 Silverado Z71
The engine has a noise. Its really hard to tell from a video, exactly what it is.
And FWIW, I kinda think the "smoke" is just water vapor/condensation. LS1's aren't really known for valve seals issues...but you should be able to smell smokey oil burn when you go look at it(if it is burning oil)
What year is it and how many miles?

Silver- 2000 Trans Am
It is a 2001 with 84,000 miles. He was asking $8,900 and I got him down to $8,200.
Here is the other thing, I found a 2000 Trans Am with 58,000 miles that is silver for $9,000. I am going to see if he would come down a little.
I like the blue with the WS6 hood better but if it isn't going to be reliable then idk.

i agree with Mr. Rodgers on this one. the silver one ( even thou not the prefered color) is a better deal. and its stock. you can mod it yourself. and you could always repaint the whole car when you get the ws6 hood

Its not horrible, I would be okay with it if it meant that I wouldn't have the same problems as the other car has. Ya, it is not worth that much to repaint and I would like to leave the car mostly stock, or at least be able to change it back to stock when I sell it. Thanks, Sid.

Silver- 2000 Trans Am
I have a 2000 Yukon that is literally perfect. Back in August I had the rust removed from the bottom of the inside of the doors, I got a small discount, $200 off. I would probably not be able to get much off a whole repaint, not to mention it would ruin the value as it would not be original paint.
I think I know what I am going to do, Thanks for everything guys!
