What do I need
My neighbor has a c6 vette and wants to race. What will I need to beat him. The only mods I have is SLP exhaust.

He has more RWHP and weighs less than you, so he has a solid advantage over you.
Is this a highway race or at the track?
Does he have any mods or is he stock?

It can be done
My buddy took a 6spd C6 3 runs in a row in his `01 M6 WS6.
Only mods he had was Lid SLP Y pipe and LM II, Did I mention he's also a little Crazy and one hell of a Driver.

I got a m6 he is an auto that is stock. This will most likely happen in the spring at the track so I got some time.

Start with the basics, headers and LS6 intake. Those 2 mods would put you around 345-350 RWHP range. Are either of you experienced track drivers? Originally Posted by garver

I have only been once or twice...He has never been at all and I know he doesnt know how to launch the auto.
