Wow, that is awesome! Did you make it yourself? I notice that it is elevated moreso than a stock brace to clear the alternator that has been relocated. Not much room under there for much more!!

bought it off a guy on FB. I had to make my own mounts because they wouldn't have cleared the FAST102 intake. As it was in the pic the stock 105 amp alternator clears however I had to do some more clearance to git the 145amp truck alternator to fit.

Seems like there is always upgrades to do to our cars. Makes you wonder why they didn't just install the upgrades from the factory! I'll never understand why catch cans weren't a factory item... don't get me started...

Hell add a trap door to access the fuel pump, use metal gear instead of the plastic one for headlights, properly run wiring for the window motors, better design of the door for mounting points for the door windows and track. My biggest peeve is the moronic stupidity of placing an alternator under a power steering pump. Nothing like have a 60 cent o ring fail and have fluid leak over it. That is the #1 reason I relocated mine.

Agreed! My old ‘89 T/A, with its 305 TPI, had its alternator up top. It only took me 15 minutes to swap that alternator out, which I did 7 times because those alternators were garbage.

My mind is still blown on the lessons not learned with the 3rd Gen concerning not using SFCs on a performance car like this.

Without a lift, it's almost impossible to access the alternator where it's installed from the factory. Even with a lift, it's difficult at best. I've been fortunate to not have the power steering dump fluid. Next pet peeve....Plastic ends on the radiator??? The list is endless....

<lament> If they only had added two or three inches to the wheelbase, so many of the issues with the car could have been avoided </lament>

Maybe you wouldn't have to cut the y pipe when dropping the transmission?
