Another color that is really nice is Black Cherry Metallic. Well, here's some pics of my progress. Cleaned up the engine while I have the intake manifold off. That is the intake all sanded down before paint. Slow, arduous process. Now I know why I didn't become a painter...!!!

Just received my EGR Blockoff Plate for my LS1 intake. The quality and workmanship is the best. Look at the reflection of my computer screen with the Corvette calendar in the background. EmblemPros did an incredible job. Good turn around time, and they will customize anything for you. I could have had LS1 or TransAm written below the bird and they would have done it. I opted for just the bird. Amazing!!

Spent the weekend cleaning the black paint off my wheels, replacing broken wheel studs and a wheel bearing that look like it was going to go at some near future point in time, rreplaced my torque arm mount that failed at the last track day and worked some more on the vert top.

Have been trying to get my silver 2000 T/A Ram Air WS6 inspected. Texas won't pass you for an inspection if you have a check engine or service engine soon light on. Thought they would pass you with two "Not Ready" statuses if your car was 15 yrs old or older, just didn't know that if coupled with the check engine light, they would fail you. I had a po171, bank one lean code bring in the service engine soon light, which, from the internet, could be a vacuum leak allowing unmetered air in after the throttle body. Well, I don't have a smoke machine to find the leak, so, I took it to the local shop Lone Star Elite literally around the block from me and they found the mass air meter boot had a leak in it. I approved the repair when they called for $156.47 for parts, labor, smoke test. Hopefully this will stop the code from registering and will improve the driveability and gas mileage, and will allow me to get my inspection and get it registered. My red 2000 T/A Ram Air WS6 also needs a right rear differential seal in my Midwest Chassis 9" that I have been nursing along and trying to keep rear end grease off the rotor. Seems like it's always something...!!!

I would love to delete the ABS INOP dash light. What codes do you recommend deleting?

Ditto. as for the others don't know why you have CEL.

My rear O2 are off, I have a SD tune so my MAF inputs and error codes are off. My 2nd to 4th gear shift solenoid is turn off.

Not sure what else my tuner did.

I am glad some codes report. Otherwise, with the onboard computer, you could be shooting in the dark trying to find out what is wrong. Unless you were a computer wizard/guru!

Be sure to put a good coat of wax on after you wash it. Soap strips wax!
