What Can I Expect To Pay?

Its gettin time for me buy a trans am. An Im curious as to what i should expect To pay via private sell price an dealer price. What i want is 98-02 WS6 transam speeds 00-02 cause i believe they come with ls6 intake stock right? Im wanting it to be black with black interior power everything 6 speed T-top with lil to no mods an with no more than 75000 miles on it. Now that's what i want but good luck gettin exactly what i want right but just needing some prices so i can save what i need thanks

01-02 came with ls6 intake.
If you looking for one 01-02 with 75k or less. M6 with all the options. I'll say about 12-14k private seller unless your lucky n get it for less.
To find a car the way you want it.
It gets difficult to buy and hard to find.
They are getting older and mileage keeps going up.

A friend of mine has an 01 black on black ws6, auto, extremely clean and nice with right at 100,000 for $10k for sale. We are in Oklahoma. I know thats a lil more miles than you want, but it is a nice car. Completely stock I believe.

That's not to bad I've got one here local and its 99 white t top automatic with 40000 miles on it he wanting 9000 but if Im goin spend 9 grand least wanna manual ill buy different color than black but has to be stick

Yep, I know how that is. I wanted a black one with an M6, but no luck. I actually had a hard time finding my red/tan interior M6, which was my second choice, but I found it. The right one will pop up.

M6 cars always command a premium price.

I got my 99 TA A4 for $6200.00 it had 120,000 miles and needed a little TLC.

The only reason I got it was my friends wife wouldn't let him buy it so he told me about it.

My GF loved it at first sight

Lol lucky you my uncle has a beautiful Ws6 but he'd never sell it has just over 13000 miles on it he's only owner

Mines a 98 and I paid 12K with 20,000 miles. I can get an ls6 intake for $300 so I think im ahead. Plus my 98 has the bigger cam :PPPPPPPPPP haha

If you're willing to travel to get it, there are several listed on autotrader.com. Some of them may be more money than you're looking for, but there are several of them out there.

'01 and '02 had a slightly smaller cam than the earlier LS1's. I believe the change in cam specs was what enabled them to remove the EGR.

The '01-02 was rated at 5 more HP as a result of the intake change, despite running a smaller cam.

The LS6 intake is probably more of an advantage then the smaller cam is a disadvantage.

Probably. All ls1s are around 350hp no matter what year, and no one really stays stock so I guess it doesnt matter much. I probably have one of the only bolt on cars around here. Everyone else is heads/cammed cars.

I was looking for the same car your looking for...just didnt have the money.

So i jumped on a black 98 a4 with 148k miles haha
-yeah i settled but hey for 2400 i couldn't pass it up lol
