what is a 2000 trans am worth

Hello all thanks again for your help i am looking at a Trans am 2000 was wondering what it is worth has NO Ws6 or anything special but does have low miles 40 thousand and is a 6 speed my guess is this is one of the cheep trans am they offered in 2000 what would be a fair price car is in good to fair shape thanks for all your help

I would consider 40k miles pretty low, but it depends on a lot of other things. What kind of shape is the paint in? Does it have any dents or dings? Interior condition? Clean Carfax? Tires? Anything need fixing? For the most part Trans Ams are bringing better than KBB retail if they are really clean. If you can buy one that's really nice for less than private party value it's most likely a good deal.

Well i paid 10700 for my 2000 Trans Am with 48k miles on it. I think that was a good deal, that was early spring, so now that winter is comming you should be able to find one close to that. If not ill sel lyou mine for 20grand.

yea the body is ok shape the inside need to be detailed and looks like it will come back nice i was hopeing to find a Ws6 or something better but i know the miles are low on this car so this must have been the cheep model TA at the time has nothing but T-Tops and chrome wheels

I just paid 15k for my 2000 WS6 6spd with 36,000 miles on it. Its in perfect condition with a clear title. I probably could have gotten a little better of a deal but T/A's are pretty rare up here so I jumped on it.

i bought my 2000 fully loaded nice bgc paint for 10,000 it 60,000 on it when i got it in 05
but now i wish i didnt buy it ive rebuilt the rear end and the trany and the motor i think ive towed it more than i have driven it lol if i would have waited 1 week i could have been driving a 2002 collectors with 45,000 for only 3,000 more erg .... so just wait and look around

Low miles, strike a deal!!! Original owner? Take it now if clean. Tuff to find a one-owner super clean T/A!! Would only pay up around 11,500 for it!! Ive got an 2000 Trans Am and love it. Still working on the speed!!

thats is a good price I spent 16000 on my 2000 ws6 three months ago its an auto but only had 11000 miles on it. not a scratch and never seen rain, auto is ok but would rather have had an m6 just way to hard to find a manual in this condition for the price.

try using nadaguide.com or kbb.com as a reference or starting point, but as stated above the vehicle is worth whatever your willing to pay for it. My guess if the paint/body and everything is working good, I would say 9k-13k.

an 02 collectors edition for $13,000? sounds a little low to me....was the car in an accident
