we love them, but what would you change?
I don't want to know what you hate about them just what bugs you about their design, type of components they use from the factory etc.
My thing is:
THE DOORS. The damn things are huge and they weigh a ton. Also the motors for those huge windows are to weak.
I wish they would have lightened them up a bit so I didn't feal like I was wearing out my car every time I opened and shut the doors.

Better steering ratio. I guess I am spoiled steering-wise from the twitchy steering on my T-bird (my OTHER bird, lol). It's not annoying, but it could be more sensitive - it's all a preference though.

Engine Bay it sucks having to almost take the engine out of the car for simple mods, or even tune ups. But I still love it.

Ground clearance with longtubes+lowered. Flip-ups headlights, I wish GM had gone with something similar to the new C6.

It's the coefficient of drag man. I lose .1 in the 1/4 when night racing. LOL.

If you think these doors are heavy try picking up a 2nd gen door they weigh twice as much.
I really can't find any faults with mine, The whole car make no consessions towards what it was designed for. The passenger floor hump may be annoying but I never sit there so I wouldn't know. Besides when I drive it, it puts a smile on my Face and that is all that matters.Craig

Silver- 2003 GTI 1.8T :(
the fact that the engine is recessed and u cant get to the back of it and it makes it impossible to have any kind of top mount s/c

damn ur right. i was gonna bitch about how hard it would be to swap an intake manifold. no wonder theres no top mount s/c kit. Forces you to intercool it tho.
I wish the stock differential and clutch were stronger. Plus the slave cyl. in my car (99)
The inside of my doors scratches my tint and the overall quality of the interior sucks. Better suspension would be sick too.

i dont really like either of those headlights, not saying they are ugly, but i like the looks of my car and i feel no need to change it... rather save my money for my engine, or at least getting it payed off

Black on black- 2003 Bonneville SSEi S/C
Only couple things i've got to complain about is simple engineering flaws. IE: Why in the hell would GM ever need to mount the master cylinder directly over the strut tower bolts? There is plenty of room towards the center. But nope. And the engine being so far back, as mentioned. And everything being in metric kinda pissed me off originally when i got it, i had to buy new sets of tools because i was used to my english-sporting mustangs.
