Hardest part is bleeding the air out the cooling system after the repair...and thats not too hard. Read up on different methods to get the air out of the cooling system and you'll be set.

VW BEETLE W/ FLOWER- 88 CRX
wait...he wants 120 al together? or 120 in LABOR.
because if he wants 120 for all of it.. i would go for it. you'll spend 100 on the pump 30 on coolant.and if you have not done one before you will get frustrated when it comes to bolting the pump up to the block trying to line the bolts up with gaskets on them.
yes, it is a very simple job to do the water pump on the LS motors just get some directions and you will be fine!

I've done this before, not hard. Was a little frustrating bolting it back up with the gaskets and all. Tried the permatrex tip but still kept falling. Lol!

i always use the napa disc brake quiet spray for that stuff and let it sit for a few minutes . it gets pretty tacky and wont ruin you r gaskets in the process

thats what they say . but if you don't have to remove it then don't and save some time . like if you have room without removing the fans then just work around them you know .
