    Volant question

I'm getting a Volant intake for my car and had a question. I know that they seal up to a stock hood, but when I switch to a ram air hood in a few months, will it still seal and be as functional? I've seen the pipe insulation wrapped around the Volant to make it seal, but does that actually work?

The foam pipe insulation works well on my Volant.

That sucks. I hope you're doing well. I'm interested in your Volant, but I can't spend $230 shipped for a used Volant (I also doubt the warranty tranfers) when I can get a brand new one shipped for $280 shipped with a warranty. I'm guessing you already sold the hood, I think I remember seeing it on Ebay.
