yes its dual filter. vapor lock is when the fuel get too hot, basically after you tun your car off , it all heats up and if u restart it it will either A) not start till it cools down, or B) run like shit for a little while till it cools down. im having symptoms of B

well im not sure it is definetly from the volant, but i did read that in rare cases it can cause vapor lock, plus i have FRC's and i also heard in some cases it traps heat in the fuel lines and can cause vapor lock as well, i just happen to have both.

I have both Volant and FRC's here - never a problem, even when idleing long periods on hot days, or after WOT runs.

Don't really see how the Volant CAI could possibly have anything to do with heating up the fuel in your lines?????

I also debaffled my hood and made custom ducts to direct air straight from snorkel opening back to rectangular slot in hood. That way, when hood is closed and airbox is sealed, only new fresh air gets to the filters.

BTW, whereabouts in Stroudsburg are you? My buddy moved up there a year ago - has a 02 CETA, claims there aren't any shows to go to at all in the area!?

yeh, i wasnt sure how a volant would cause VL, but thats what i read. the FRC i could see trapping heat, but i dunno.

I live more towards saylorsburg, iv never seen an 02 CETA cruising around here? i woulda noticed that! you ever come up this way? you can show me how u rigged your ram air.

do you think the volant set up is better performance wise compared to the air box?
