    very confused-false advertisement?

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1998-...QQcmdZViewItem

Advertised as a trans am and it even says trans am on the rear decal... But has the formula or firebird front bumber. It even has the TA ground effects so i'm a little confused... what do you think?

I saw that one too. Maybe the front got damaged and instead of putting a t/a bumper, they put on a formula/firebird bumper

I can agree with that, but then their text shows, ...
"The exterior of this ACCIDENT-FREE Trans Am is in wonderful condition, with no scratches, or dents"

So either it was wrecked & repaired, ..., or someone jsut thought they'd like a change & go for the Formula front instead.

yeah, but then again, they are a dealer. When I got mine from the dealer the ad said something similar, but later i saw that the rear bumper had been repainted for some reason

According to the RPO codes in the picture it is supposed to have a CD player and no tape player. All of the missing lug nut covers are driving me nuts. I hope the bidders are looking really close at it!

Stupid question...did the 98's have a solid rear spoiler or is it raised off the back deck like my '01?? This is an anomoly, why would someone change out the front end to a Firebird front end, the T/A front looks so much better.... Any one from near this place could take a run down and find out if aliens abducted a T/A and did some experiments with it??

You know what they say about opinions.

I've never seen a riced out car with a spoiler that good looking.

Tell me...what is a non-riced out spoiler then if the T/A's is rice?

I love that damn spoiler and it is the ONLY reason I'm not driving a 'vert period.

I disagree, it gives it the muscle car look. I'm getting Ram Air Hood on tues and then thinking about stripes so people wont even relize the spoiler. It will be bad ass!!
